DoA, KAED, IIUM

Department of Architecture, Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED), International Islamic University Malaysia was established in 1996 as the 5th public architectural school in Malaysia with a vision and mission to fulfil the needs for professional architects in the built environment based on Tawhidic educational approach that recognises the role of Man as vicegerent on Earth for Creator-Allah, respect other human being and the environment. The school's niche includes healthcare, sustainability, and universal design, which are Islamic attributes in the curriculum for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
